Chapter 3 : ASMA Software for Netware
Install ASMA for Netware 4.x / 5.x / 6.x (Cont’)
To Install ASMA for Netware, you must specify the install path to
\\Network Computer Name\SYS\SYSTEM. For example, you can specify
a mapped drive (such as N) to \\Network Computer Name\SYS, and
specify the install path to N:\SYSTEM (Where N is your mapped drive).
When you install ASMA, you should follow the procedures listed below.
At "Choose Destination Location" dialog box.
1. Click Browser to choose a destination.
2. Click Network to map a Network computer.
3. For Windows NT4.0/2000:
a. Choose a mapped drive (such as N: or another),
b. At “Choose Directories”, Click Netware or compatible Network.
c. Select the Network computer that you want to map (Note: You
must map to \\Network Computer Name\SYS)
d. Type your login name and password to access the Network
Computer, click OK.
e. Click OK, return to "choose folder" dialog box.
If your installation path does not contain netware system files, a
warning will be given. Clicking Yes allows you to specify another
path, clicking No will ignore this problems and continue the
installation wizard.
Uninstalling ASMA for NetWare
You can uninstall ASUS System Monitoring Agent For NetWare by
deleting the following files in “Netware SYS:SYSTEM”:

ASUSLM78.NLM
ASUSASR.NLM
ASUSBP.NLM
ASUSMIB.NLM
ASUSRAID.NLM
ASUSMIB.INI
ASUSCONF.INI
ASUSSNMP.NCF
ASUSMIB.MIB
