Expansion cards
The system comes with two PCI-X riser card brackets that you may
remove separately if you wish to install PCI cards.
2. Use a Phillips (cross) screwdriver
to remove the screw that secures
the slot metal cover.
3. Install a PCI card to the left
bracket as shown, then secure
the card with a screw.
The riser card brackets have different orientation. For illustration
purposes, the riser card brackets will be referred to as right
bracket and left bracket.
The PCI-X slots on the riser cards support 3V universal-type 32-bit/
64-bit PCI cards.
2.5.1 Installing a PCI card
To install a PCI card:
1. Firmly hold a riser card bracket,
then pull it up to detach it from the
PCI-X slot on the motherboard.
