LAN
This section provides instructions on how to install the Intel® 82547GI LAN
controller drivers.
6.2.1
Windows® 2000 Server
To install the Intel® 82547GI LAN controller driver on a Windows® 2000
Server OS:
1.
Restart the computer, then log in with Administrator privileges.
2.
Insert the motherboard/system support CD to the optical drive, or the
LAN controller driver disk to the floppy disk drive.
3.
Windows® automatically detects the LAN controller and displays a
New Hardware Found window. Click Cancel.
4.
Right-click the My Computer icon on the Windows® desktop , then
select Properties from the menu.
5.
Click the Hardware tab, then click the Device Manager button to
display the list of devices installed in the system.
6.
Right-click the LAN Controller item, then select Properties.
7.
Click the Driver tab, then click the Update Driver button.
8.
The Intel® PRO Network
Connections window
appears. Click the Install
Base Drivers button.
The LAN controller drivers
are automatically installed in
the system.
